The passengers are mostly back-packers as this isn't a luxury cruise. The scenery was incredible; the days were relaxing; and the company was great! We met and spent most of our time with the group below: Mette (from Norway), Suze (from Holland) and Ernesto (from Chile). Lake Crossing: This is supposed to be a spectacular trip crossing the boarder from Chile to Argentina through the Andes. You navigate three lakes, pass several volcanoes, and several "jungle" type roads where you'd think buses couldn't pass... unfortunately for us... it was pouring rain so hard all day long it made visibility very difficult. Here the rain stopped for a short time while we snapped these pictures. Bariloche (Around Town): Super cute town with a major Swiss influence surrounded by lakes in the Andes, Argentina. With many ski areas also close by... it is your all year round vacation destination. We spent three nights here enjoying the sun, sites and food!! |
