Costa Rica:  By the time we got to Costa Rica we had been six months on the road and were showing signs of being a little tired and a little homesick.  After a rough boarder experience*, we decided that we would return home for a short break and then continue traveling a month later.  We made the most of our short (well almost two week) stay in Costa Rica... but the time went fast and we did not take as many pictures or keep as diligent notes as we did in previous countries.  Here is a collection of photos -- mostly colorful wildlife and vibrant scenery -- taken from our walks in different cloud forests throughout Costa Rica.

*The Costa Rica boarder officials would not let us enter their country until we went back to Panama and purchased an international return bus ticket; the ticket was our proof of "onward" travel out of Costa Rica even though we had no intention of returning to Panama.  It was frustrating red tape at the time.
